As I promised all of you in the previous post,I shall begin with my Malacca trip.
At first the trip was supposed to be a 5 men trip,at the very last minute it was reduced to a size of 4.It was because this particular friend of ours misplaced his passport at home.By the time he found it,it was already expired.
[Removed due to harsh remarks]
Okay back to the Malacca trip.1 day before we set off to Malaysia,we stayed at William's place and spend the whole night there.Kelvin Lee's house was not available for us,even though he stayed at Bukit Panjang. As for me,my house is too messy for accommodation.
William suggested that we should wake up at 5am and then take a cab to Woodlands Checkpoint.I don't see the point, who on Earth will go there so early?Anyway,to play safe,we shall do it this way.
And I was right, the Johor custom was so peaceful and quiet. This is one kind of scene you'll never saw when you went there in the late morning. That's it,$20+ wasted on the cab fare.
We board the bus to Malacca which cost us $16.50RM for a one-way journey. It took us almost 3 hours to arrive there. The trip was super worth the price.
Had our lunch at Kenny Rogers at Tesco Shopping Centre, went to Tesco for some mini shopping blah blah blah...
Fast forward abit,we finally arrived at Seri Coasta Hotel. The place was rather decent looking and it doesn't look like a 3 star hotel at all.
Since we came here too early(Every hotel seems to have a 2pm check-in practice),we decided to take a visit at the ship museum just 5 minute walk away from the hotel.
The entrance fee cost us $3RM,don't bother convert back to Singapore dollar,it's an acceptable price.
There's even a small marketplace outside the ship. They sold some decorations and ship figurines there.
The prisoners inside the brig.Just where the heck is the statue in blue touching the statue in tan?
This is another museum that was linked to the ship exhibition. It display some of the sea creatures found in the ocean.
Okay end of the ship exhibition.Stay tune for part II of Journey to the North.
