It's my birthday today, but I didn't do anything today.Be it in celebrating with my friends or family.I'll be doing this tomorrow anyway.

To date,8 person wish me happy birthday.2 from church,2 from my ex-campmates,1 from my secondary school friends and 3 from my polytechnic school friends. Thanks people,I appreciated all your wishes.

However it's funny how people who wishes you every year don't wish you this year.

Maybe they forget,or maybe they don't want to.I'm not angry with them anyway. It's their choice.

I never had a wonderful birthday every year. It's like setting up a curse for 23 years of my life. But I'm not blaming God,because I know that God had already give me a present that is everlasting.

If I recall how I celebrate my birthday during my church times,it would be:

2000:In Richard's house.Where we also celebrate April's birthday.Somehow they asked me for my birthday and I revealed to them. They celebrate for me as well.

2001:In Pasir Panjang market. We had a wonderful dinner and that was when all the youth gather together to have dinner.

2002:Celebrate with Diana and the rest in some restaurant at City Hall.Quite an okay gathering.

2003:Celebrate with my choir members at a restaurant in Ginza.I remember we had a sofe shell crab for only $1.

2004:Celebrate once again with my chior members. We had a simple cake. Also had a simple dinner with TANS people.

2005:Non applicable

And if I recall how my poly friends celebrate with me,it would be:

2000:Non applicable, because at that time my poly life haven't start.

2001:Had a simple lunch in Burger King.

2002 and 2003:Can't remember.Think got went to Dan Ryan or something.

2004:Had dinner in Fish and Co at the Glasshouse, which is in Dhoby Ghaut.I remember getting sabo-ed by blowing a strawberry condom.Come to think of it,it's very disgusting.

2005:Had dinner in Soup Restaurant at Suntec City. The food there is very nice, especially the chicken.

I shall change my word:I did had a wonderful birthday every year. =)

This guy had been trying alot of his transaction cards when I queue up for the ATM to check my account balance.Maybe he's trying to top up his cashcard.

But I find him rather inconsiderate. Can't he see angry people behind waiting for you?He was like trying his transactions for 3-4 times and yet he don't want to stop. The queuing people is getting kinda pissed and the uncle in front of me is asking me whether what he did is legal.

Legal or not, base on my experience in withdrawing cash from ATM,each person is allow 2-3 transactions only.If you have 3-4 cards at the same time trying to do 6-8 transaction, you are wasting the time of the people who are queuing up who are rushing for time.

Let's be a considerate person. =)

A few more days will be my birthday.

It's not that I'm telling the whole whole it's my birthday in 4 days time,it just a gentle reminder that I'm 23 and I need to be more muture by another level.

Not many people in church know when is my exact birthday, simply because I'm hiding from them and I don't really like telling people my birthday is coming. It's like what I said:Telling the whole church my birthday.

If they got the heart, the should have check my profile from my friendster or something. What for hinting them?

And I already expecting no presents every year from the church.By writing this I'm not trying to expect sympathy from people.

Okay,I shall calm down myself. It's getting out of control.

I'm glad William knows my birthday.I tell William I want Dawn Yeoh for my birthday. And I hope he'll give me a big box of present and when I open it up,Dawn pops out of the box and kiss me.

Such thinking is just an impossible fantasy.

G-string perhaps?Jockstrap is also acceptable.BUT I must have a good figure to wear it.

Arrgg!!!!I also don't know what I want for my birthday.

I'll try to arrange with my friends for my birthday celebration. So far my plan is:Friday celebrate with Poly friends,Saturday with my church.I just hope the plan went smoothly.

False Voice

I love songs that uses falsetto,or you can call it "jia ying" or "squeeze ball" songs.

For example, songs like "She's so high" resang by Kurt Nilsen,"100 years" by Five for Fighting,"You're beautiful" by James Blunt and current so-called new song "Jimmy gets high" by Daniel Powter(And can somebody call class 95 don't keep playing "Free Loop" by him?It becomes more and more annoying!).

I just so love "squeeze ball" song so much that I sing it to my church friends. They're kinda disgusted anyway, sorry people.

Sometime I'll try to imitate the way they sing the songs.Just like "Boyfriend" and "L.O.V.E" by Ashlee Simpson. Her singing sounds like Wantian's voice,ermm....,3-4 years back?

Well, got any "sqeeze ball" songs to recommend me?

And how many songs I listed in this entry?

Journey

I just wonder how are my friends doing right now.

Especially all those I know through my army days, those who went through with me at the year.

They may have persue different journey;some went to study in university, some went to work, some still waiting to study and some of them, well, have no directions for themselves.

I just miss those time where we squeezed around the TV watching all the VCD that we brought in to the bunk.At that time we watched an average of 4-5 movies everyday.I like watching movie with Liwei and Weibin. They are the only two who can really understand the movie well.

I remember watching "The Amityville Horror" with my bunkmates, there's a scene where the little went to the toilet and out of the sudden,a ghostly face flash out of nowhere and Weibin was letting out a shout scream.Everyone of us is laughing even though it's a scary movie.

Because of the journey that we're heading, busyness is unavoidable. We seems to be drawing further away from one another.

Where's the Sentosa outing?Where's the steamboat outing?Where's the enjoyable time in the game of pool?

We hope one day we'll meet again, probably during the reservice time. And everybody can't wait to share the journey we're still walking.

The consequence of submitting a late time sheets:You'll get your pay later.

Their window of submitting the time sheets falls on 10th and 25th of each month. You'll get your pay 5 days after the submission. If you happened to miss the window by handing in late, they will have to hold on to your paper until the next window opens.

And so,I'm now a broke-n man!

How on earth can I still survive with only less than 100 bucks for 9 days?Well,I had to control my usage of money.Perhaps I need to borrow from my parents then.

But rest assured,I will make a comeback with 2 times of pay!Uhahahaha!!!!!

Just Random

10 Random thoughts for the week:

1.Sylvy told me that she had watch Kings of Convenience's concert last thursday.Oh Sylvy,I'm so LOVE you for telling me this.

Okay, what makes me even more angry was Fiona Xie also went for the concert!Wah lao!If I brought my album there for their autograph,I will just go and find her and sign on the CD as well. And that's a one stone kill two birds move.So wasted that I didn't had a chance to use this.

I want to buy new clothes! But because I spend my money to pay for my phone bill which I own for 4 months, plus buying the DVD-RW during the IT fair,I'm left with minimum resource.

Oh please come my payday.I promise I won't overspend.

March 15, 2006

Remember there was this advertisement which features signing on for Navy, whereby this person happened to see a movie featuring himself on a newspaper.

What struck me most is this phrase:If your life were a movie, would it be a great one?

Our life is indeed a movie. What kind of movie do people want to see in you?A testimonial one,a screwed-up one or movie without any plot(directionless)?

This reminds me of youth bible study:If we go up to heaven, will God show us a big screen that shows a life documentary of us during our life on Earth?I just can't imagine.

Let's modified abit:If God was to show any one of us our life documentary to everybody ,like those kind of open theatre style and make it 3 person a day,and one day you happened to be the subject, what will be your reaction?

I'll hide my face and just hope they censored most of my part.Even if it's a cut version,I bet it's still a R(21) show.

As for the content of the life documentary, probably it will goes like this:

1.Your childhood life:The day you brought up by your parent, having no stress and worries and make everyone of us goes Awwwww simply by looking at your innocent smile.

2.Teenager life:That's where changes take place. It may be you working hard to be a high flyer and make your parents proud,or your screwed up life where you learn to smoke, fight and play truant,or an average joe life where you spend your life in a routine.

3.Adult life:You work like mad,you get married and had a baby.Maybe you can add on somemore.

4.Ending:The most important one.How you want to end your story?

Happy ending:You died peacefully, with your child growing up and get married and your grandson/daughter by your side. You also win people to the Lord before you died.

Sad ending:You died but there's no one by your side.

So it's important to have a good ending for your movie,if not,who will bother watching it?Let's make our movie a meaningful one.

How's Life?

Yah,pardon my inconsistant update. But it's okay right?Since my counter seems to be jumping very slowly.

Kelvin should be having his sleep in mainland Tekong when I start this post.

He called me in the afternoon,I wonder what happen.Maybe he's trying to test his phone whether can call from here anot.Anyway,I hope he enjoy the 2 weeks stay in Tekong.

We had dinner as a TANS last Thursday, except Benny with his ATP and Daniel with his work.We had our dinner at Kenny Rogers and had a wonderful time fellowshipping with one another and talk about some church stuff.

We are the budget brothers in Christ!

Somehow, the song "Goodbye to You" by Michelle Branch stuck in my mind when Kelvin is about to leave Singapore. It's so overplayed in class 95 together with "Free Loop" by Daniel Powter and "Luxurious" by Gwen Stefani.

Goodbye my friend, see you in another 2 weeks time with your bald hair.

Yesterday was Glenn's birthday. So we celebrate his birthday in a restaurant called Hooters.

Image hosting by Photobucket
To clarke quay we need to climb a flight of....what?90 steps?!

We had a hard time trying to locate the place.Vincent and his girlfriend is waiting for us there.

I didn't know we guys are so wolf-face when we went there. There are so many girls with their sporty looking wear (A shirt and a orange shorts)serving us dinner.Suddenly I felt the heat inside the restaurant. Is it the air-con or is it just me?

Image hosting by Photobucket
The ambience here is like Dan Ryan. There's TVs attracted to every corner for us to watch ESPN sports channel.

The menus are way too attractive for us.After looking at it for 15 minutes,we forgot about placing orders for our stomach!

Image hosting by Photobucket
Let see...let's have hooters shooter.

Image hosting by Photobucket
And it cost $888.88 for a friend one. That is a funny joke.

We ordered the 50 chicken wings, which is a most have in this restaurant. It cost only $39.90 for 50 wings, with special sauce that is well marinated on the chicken.Who can resist the temptation?

The food took so long to come, but it's really worth the wait.Plus the waitress had already warn us about the waiting time.Telling us the waiting time is important, because this helps us to have the mentality to wait.Unlike some place, never even warn us and it took us so long to gewt the food delivered to the table.

While waiting,we took some pictures.

I'm trying to take the 3 of us with me taking the shot.Eventually it failed.

I tried 3 times and all failed!

That's it.I let someone take for us.

It's been a long time four of us take a picture together.

Annebelle is so camera shy. When she talked to me,she's completely different.she's one of the most fiercest girl I known.

Mascot promoting some stuff.

I didn't take a photo of Vincent and his girlfriend.Oh well....next time we'll have a chance.

And here comes FOOD!

Image hosting by Photobucket
50 chicken wings!Man,it's like a mountain!

Image hosting by Photobucket
Fish and Chip ordered by Glenn.

Image hosting by Photobucket
Chicken Piccata ordered by Annebelle.

Image hosting by Photobucket
My seafood spaghetti. The cream base is nice.

Image hosting by Photobucket
King prawn ordered by Raymond. But I don't find the prawn big,and it comes with only one prawn!

It's nice anyway.Got this garlic taste when Raymond pass his share for me to eat.

And Raymond keep passing food to me and Glenn! What a wonderful move.

Image hosting by Photobucket
Snowfish ordered by Vincent.

Speaking of Vincent,he seems to put on weight when I saw him.The last time I seen him is during the overnight bike riding.

The food is so much for us to finish. We had some chicken wings leftover to finish.

Image hosting by Photobucket
And the winner goes to Raymond for his huge pile of chicken bones.

When the bill came,we checked the receipt and shock to realise the food that we eat sums up to $280+ for 9 person.

There's also a hoola hook dance by the Hooters girls.Glenn is eyeing on the girl with black shirt which is the senior stuff here. They said she looked like Jolin Tsai. And yes,her body is so well defined and the way she do the hook dance is simply stunning.

And thus we must let Glenn take a picture with her.

Image hosting by Photobucket
Here you go.And she shaked his hand and wish him happy birthday which I find it rather "Ying Chou".She kinda busy I supposed.I believed Glenn will not wash his shaked hand for months.

After that, off to MOS we go!

Image hosting by Photobucket

There's a long queue when we get there.Only Glenn,Vincent and his girlfriend and I is going,so there's no problem with people lost during the crowd. So less is good.

The ang mo girls queuing in front of us looks like they can't wait to get in.When they saw their friends coming, they hugged one another as if they didn't met each other for years.

There's even a father driving his son to club! What a happening father he had.

So far most of the people I seen queuing up to MOS are all filthy rich. All those who drive in to the carpark minimum standard is BMW or Lexus.Only few drive in cars like Toyota,Nissan and Honda. The best car I saw driving in is the Vintage Cooper.I find it very unique.

Image hosting by Photobucket
The lightings inside the ticket counter.

There's 3 dance room that we can go:Smooch,Arena and the one on the second floor. There's room for exclusive member and those 25 years old and above that we cannot go in.

Image hosting by Photobucket
That's Arena.

Image hosting by Photobucket
The dance is good. There's so many chio bus to see yet we don't have the chance to dance with them.

There also couple kissing so intimately at the dancefloor. They had been gluing on for 30 minutes kissing and hugging. We changed our place to dance and still we see them kissing.

I don't quite like the music today. It's too much of trance/techno/house which is not to my liking.I prefer pop and retro.

We went off at 3am and by the time I reached home it's about 4am.Right now I'm still so tired and I need alot of rest.

Apple Beware

Apple is a one sinful company.

Yesterday I was going Orchard with Raymond to hunt for something. We came upon this Apple shop in cineleisure that sell all kinds of Apple programs and accessories. We try out the new Apple iMac Intel core duo.Since the interface is so different,we had a hard time trying out the MAC OS.

After trying for a few minutes,I am so addicted to it!Man,I love the design and the simplicity.

The design is so sleek. However,it cost about $2388 for a 17" iMac.I may took me nearly a year to save up these money to buy that. And oh,did I forget to tell you that the monitor is actually a CPU?

I'll just be contented with a ipod video. It may just be the one that can store all my mp3 songs.

Juicy gossips and aunties buying stock market is not a fictional TV drama,it's a reality.

When I was eating my free lunch inside the pantry sponsored by the company. There were aunties looking at how there stock performed while eating.About 70% of their conversation were about stock market. And the rest of 30% will be the office gossips.

Never underestimate the aunties.

Has been a busy week recently, simply thanks to the new system. We hardly get a time to do something else like going out to have a slow lunch.Even worse, they had to work until 7.30pm instead of their usual 5.30pm(not for me,I leave at 5.30pm).One of my colleague can't even find a time to check if her son has recovered from his fever. She has been taking care of her son overnight and is very tired.

When is the time we won't have to go through all this long hour of work everyday?

Customers have been complaining everywhere. They had been confused by how the new system works. My phone is not spared from the overflooding questions they ask.Maybe a few weeks later, everybody will go crazy.

Endure,Wei Liang,Endure!
