Z to The Oh-Oh

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Finally,I managed to post up my visitation to the zoo,and that was almost 3 weeks ago.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Will I get to see Inuka san today?

The entrance fee is free, thanks to my corporate pass that I'd book.If not,I had to pay $15 for it.Sorry, the corporate pass does not include Night Safari.

The place has changed alot since last visit, which was like during my primary school(or maybe secondary school)days.Oh man, that was like 10-12 years ago!At that time there's even A&W which we'd make it a point to go there for curly fries and root beer. Those were the days...

Okay,let's proceed with some photos:

Clockwise from left: Chinese or long-tailed goral, seal, camel and pygmy hippo.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Oh,check out the teeth of the hippo.

White tiger is one of my favorite in the zoo.I simply love white animals(Arctic wolf, snow rabbit, harp seal, polar bear, etc).

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Suggestive position by the beh hor.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
This fish is so big,it can actually feed me for a day. *drool*

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Small fish can't be eaten.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Lazy wild boar doing suntanning.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Interactive kangaroo. The kids were shouting non-stop to their parents when they saw the little thing jumping near them.So cute!

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Oh so adorable jumping animal.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
The kangaroos' resting area. Most of them were like posing in some seductive position.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Another food spotted: Ostrich meat!

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Lama resting.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Can I take a ride on you?

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Maned wolf in a den.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
What is the wolf doing?

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Oh,he was hunting for food: White rat!

He was going round and round their boundary and the ang-mo trying hard to take a photo of it.It's very hard to get a photo of this wild beast.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Penguin going for a dive.

Photobucket - Video and Image HostingPhotobucket - Video and Image Hosting
After a swim, they went up for the fellowship of the "guins".

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Didn't know they're called Jackass.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Indoor penguin. One of the penguins even pooped on the glass panel!

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Playful orang utan on the net.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
It's feeding time!

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
I'm thirsty! *Gulp gulp*

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
*smooch!*

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
*blush*

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
There's also a photo-taking session with the monkeys,which is about $8(can't remember)for a few sets of photos.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
A machine operated branch.Cool!

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Let's take a slope up to see the baboons.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
It was a rather steep slope, but it won't makes you pant.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Mysterious creature in the cage. What was that?

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Big turtle trying to take a walk.I've seen bigger ones, which I'll post it later.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
This is not hua guo shan, the baboons will not talk to you.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Check out their ass.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
The elephants are forever so photo friendly.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Pelican brief.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Yes!I'm coming!!!

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
I was so lucky to see Inuka going for a swim. The polar bear is not really snowy white but a little patch of green, which is due to the amoeba.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Mr Inuka swimming around.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Doing a back kick.

The polar bear wouldn't be around for long.Once the mother bear(Sheba)died,Inuka had to be moved to a much more colder place.Frankly speaking,Singapore is too hot for the polar bear.

The polar bear is so close to extinction because of their fur and global warming. So do save the environment!

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Sheba resting in the shade. She looks so fine!

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
While Inuka resting beside the rock.I want to touch his fur!

Okay, end of the polar bear show.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Planet of the apes. The left one looks like it's stoning.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
One wrong move and you're their food.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Leopard cat looking so bored.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Look how it glares at me.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
The food for the leopard cat.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
This is the bigger one that I've mentioned earlier.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Looks like the giraffe failed its camouflaging test.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Going for some european style?

Walking down to the kids farm brings me back another memory. That was where we take the train ride, but it's long gone.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Gentle horse drinking its water.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
The billy goats are the super friendly creature in the farm.Don't believe me?

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Coming near...

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Boo!!!

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
The moo moo with no milk.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Hairy and bunny eat carrots.

There's a place where we can enter in to get close and intimate with the animals, which makes a plus point to the zoo.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Going in to the place,I saw a blue butterfly flying so fast that I'm unable to capture it well.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Bluish looking bird.Check out its Mohawk hairstyle.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Little duckling waiting to grow up.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Is that a stingray?

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
There's a butterfly landing onto my hand.It is trying to suck out some nectars on my hand but failed.Maybe is it because of coke stain on my hand?

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Safely,I took it to their resting point and snap it.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
The white one looks even prettier.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Cute and shy little creature which I managed to touch its fur.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Another of the same breed with another color.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
The bat is spreading its wings for me.

What?We have bugs in the zoo too?

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Disgusting green thing.EEKKK!!!

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Looks like the mating season has just begun!

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Another breed of xiao qian. *scream*

If you think that visiting the zoo is all about seeing the animals alone, you're wrong. You'll also learn something about them.

Photobucket - Video and Image HostingPhotobucket - Video and Image HostingPhotobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Some attractive signs that I've encountered.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
How I wish I can jump that far, then I'll have no problem with my standing board jump.

Wait a minute,I can jump 234cm in my SBJ,which is a gold distant.

Photobucket - Video and Image HostingPhotobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Photobucket - Video and Image HostingPhotobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Something to learn from the komodo dragon.

There are so many photos to post and if I were to post it all,I'll bore the hell of you all.So it's better to just take a visit to the zoo yourself.
