Politically Correct in a Crazy World

2 Saturdays ago,we went to Chee Moon's place for our HGC outing.This is my second time coming there.I remembered the first time I went there is during the Lunar New Year Time,where we had Dumplings at her humble house.

We had this open kitchen concept.I kinda like this concept but William find this space consuming.Well,this is the mind of the future architect-to-be.


It was raining heavily this morning,but thank God that the rain doesn't last long.We managed to enjoy ourselves with a cooling weather.


The kitchen even had a refrigerator and a ice making machine!Man am I so suaku to take this photo.























Green green fruits.We tend to have more fruits than most of the HGCs.No wonder we are the self-proclaim healthiest HGC.

The bee hoon is super nice.I like the sesame smell of the bee hoon and the fried garlic/onion which makes it smells nice(and taste nice too).




Mmmm......taste good!

When eating a Ma La steamboat,be careful not to eat this little ball-like spice.It actually gives you this numb sensation on the tongue once you bite onto it.This is tested and proven by the one who's typing it right now.










Heard that they're going to organize another HGC event in November/December.It will be at the same place,but this time a pool party.Another suggestion will be the Ladies/Gents' night.If they were to organize the latter,I may want to go Johor for seafood.I'll have Ivan(Mr Johor)to guide us.

I was about 90% recovered from my sickness.My appetite is started to gain back what I want it to be,so no more 1/2 bowl of rice again!

I need some time to plan blogging about my HGC outing in Chee Moon's house.Most probably will have to post it tomorrow night.For now,I'll have to post some other stuff.

Heard one of the songs "Sheng Wai Wu" in Youtube.It's super nice.It makes me wanna buy the 881 OST to listen.Till date I have 5 albums/singles to buy:

1. "Buku wa Kuma" singles by Utada Hikaru (This singles has been there for almost 1 year!)

2. "Flavor of Life" singles by Utada Hikaru (Another singles released quite long time ago)

3. "Beautiful World/Kiss & Cry" singles by Utada Hikaru (Die lah!So many singles haven't buy yet!)

4. "Beautiful Seed" by Corrinne May

5. "881 OST" (Although there will be alot of Hokkien songs which I won't be able to understand)

Speaking of 881,Me as a Singaporean haven't watch the show yet.Yeah,I heard it was a nice and touching show,but I think I'll be waiting for their DVD to release.

Anyway,if anyone got the last 2 albums,can I borrow from you all for sampling?Hahaha!

Will be going for the Singapore Bike Fest today.Hope to take some nice pictures over there.

I have been having Diarrhea since yesterday.Let me tell you,the feeling is not good.Imagine having to wake up in the middle of the night for toilet,passing motion until you perspires and the product that you give out happens to be in liquid form.

I went to see the company doctor yesterday.He warned me not to drink milk and eat oily stuff.I was hoping for a 2 days MC but was given only 1/2 day (I went in the afternoon).

The next day,I'm still suffered from the illness,so I decided to call my officer and went to the nearest Polyclinic.It was a 1.5 hrs of long wait.Seriously,how can a sick person wait for so long?

The doctor said the same thing as what the company doctor said: No milk,no oily stuff.He also added on by saying no cheese,chocolate and fruit juice.

No fruit juice?!I've been drinking fruit juice almost every day that it becomes my addiction.Now that I cannot drink fruit juice for the next 3 days,life is so boring.

Anyway,in conclusion,Diarrhea is an easiest way to get MC.The doctor did not do anything much on me,except for giving me advises.No heartbeat check,no blood pressure check.The whole consultation process took me 5 minutes that cost me $21!Let's hope I can claim back the money from the company.

Last Sunday our church is organizing a family day outing in Nan Hua High School(Which was previously known as Nan Hua Secondary).I'm actually looking forward to this event because this is my first time coming for any Family Day event.

I can't believe myself that I actually bpught a green color T-shirt just because the dress code for our HGC is green.Anyway,it was an affordable t-shirt that was bought in Esprit Outlet which cost only $5,except that the sizing is too tight for me.I regretted not training hard enough for the shirt.










The first event started off with transporting the water bomb to a target area.Right now they are doing some proper planning before the actual game begins.


Each team send up 6 representatives(split into 3 groups) to hold the trash bags.Their objective is to catch and hold the water bomb that their team mate threw,then bounced it to another team mate who is also holding on to the trash bag.Lastly,the 3rd group had to bounce the water bomb into a small pail.Simply eh?It requires a certain technique to catch it,or else you'll get yourself wet.



The winner for round 1: Green(Oh yeah!)

Round 2: No picture because I had to take part in this game.Team member are to carry a badminton racket,run to a certain point,spin 10 rounds with the racket,and balance the ping pong ball back to the starting point.It was very dizzy game.

The winner for round 2: Red


Round 3: No picture because I was hungry for food after the game.Team member are to use their chopstick skill to bring the marble to another point.Simple yet full of technique.

The winner for round 3: White(green placed last in this event)

The team leader decided to use joker for round 4.


Round 4: Team members are to move to the other side without touching the ground.In order to get to the other side,they were given paper plates to create a stepping ground.


It was a very exciting match indeed.Our team picked up slow in the beginning,but they started to catch up in the end.So...

Winner for round 4: Green (With double points!)

At the end of round 4,our team is leading the second team by 4 points.We got to defend ourselves in round 5.

Round 5: No picture.8 team members are to run to 3 respective spot to get a missing jigsaw piece,then return back to fix up a jigsaw puzzle.They can only return back with 1 jigsaw piece.

Our puzzle,truthfully to say,is one of the easiest.When I looked at white team,I seriously don't know how on earth can they fix up a blank picture-less puzzle.

Winner for round 5: Red

It was a close fight between red,white and green.Red team's threat is Richard and Eugene Lim,White team's threat is Junwei and Janan and Green team's threat is Eddie and Joshua.

And the winner goes to...

Green team with a close margin of 1 point!Winning the match was tough.



We also have a hat making competition,whereby each HGC represent themselves with a mascot wearing a hat with a certain theme.

I was volunteered to be the mascot for Clementi.It was Yunn's wonderful idea to make me into a little red riding hood.Dr Gan,thanks leh!


















The winner of the hat making competition goes to the crystal chinese HGC(the yellow shirt people with a black box behind Ming Keat).Their Noah's ark hat impressed the judges with biblical descriptions and creativity.





I really enjoyed the event very much,especially week after week of monotonous and stressful job,it's the best time for me to relax.I hope we can organize more of this event in future.

Lastly for the families who are sentitive of us being so prideful,please don't take it to heart.Bascially by saying sentence like: "Aiyoh,our team win again ah?Sian!" doesn't mean that we are not humble.We are actually trying to be sarcastic to other team member.It's just a youth trend lah.So chill...and cheers.

Watched Hairspray last Tuesday with my fellow colleagues.And if you don't know what kind of movie is this,it's a musical comedy with a feel of the 60's (Think Grease,even though I didn't watch this show before,in fact I should watch it one day).

As far as I know,there has been a racial discrimination going on in the 60s,where the blacks and the whites were separated by a thick red line.Then came Tracy Turnblad who is here to save the day.By her beautiful singing and her dance moves,she has changed the mind of the people,even though she got an awesome built.Slowly,Tracy managed to draw the two race together by her determination and her perseverance.

I did like the dance very much.The chronography and synchronizing was almost too perfect to imagine.It was like watching a western version of Bollywood.But I must admit I like Bollywood dance very much.They'll never ran out of ideas when comes to dance moves.

The whole movie is so magical,it makes me wanna go for a weekly Mambo every Wednesday in Zouk.Uhahahahaha......


I'll give this movie 9 out of 10.

Due to the time constraint(To say it in a worse way,procrastination),I'll have to start my post one by one in a different post.The sequence will goes like this:

It's a rather rare opportunity where I can meet up with Ming Keat and Kelvin Lee for dinner.For those who asked why Kelvin has not been in church for so many months,the reason is simply because of the police duty he has to do.It's sad that he has to work even on Saturday and Sunday,which means weekend burn for him.

We don't worry,you're going to ORD next year.Just hold on my brother!




I was craving for a Char Siew and Roosted Pork,so I decided to order myself Char Siew Roosted Pork noodle.Look at the amount of big stalk vegetable in the bowl.I had to give all of them to William.







Hey...there should be 4 of it,where has the other one went to?



Ming Keat had to go back earlier because of an upset stomach.He was having a stomachache for all day and had to go for a jab the next day.Poor brother!

Well,this is the price you have to pay if you want to earn that extra money for a perfect attendance.So what's important in your life: Your health or your money?
